The Makita PC5010C is the entry-level concrete planer by Makita. Unlike the PC5001C it has no front or base rollers for consistent planer depth. However, its removable front cover allows planing flush to walls or corners, and its Super Joint System II absorbs the vibration produced by the wheel grinding or cutting, giving it a lower vibration level than the PC5001C. Like the PC5001C, it has Soft Start and Anti-Restart functions, as well as continuous speed control.
