The Makita DUH601 featured triple-edged cutting teeth which are designed to easily catch and firmly hold branches. It also has curved blades which reduce friction resistance, and due to the low resistance, run time is increased. It has a brushless motor, variable speed control (3-speed and trigger), 5 position rotating rear handle, soft start, an ergonomic soft grip and reverse button. It is equipped with a battery protection circuit, which is designed to protect the battery from damages due to over discharge, high temperature or overload current.
